Fine is good... but only if it can't be great.
Part of making a piece of art or entertainment is knowing when to keep going, when to demand more, but also when it's time to stop.
There is always a time in every creative process where the ROI on further changes stops making sense.When the changes become an excuse for withholding whatever you've made with the final arbiter -- an audience.
It is your job (and ours as producers) to walk all the way up to that line -- making sure that what we're putting out into the world is as good as it can possibly be... while also expending the appropriate amount of energy and resources to get it there.
